You succeeded!

Hi David

You succeeded in Båstad!
You succeeded with something special that you could not notice or know about. We often have speakers and group work on our kick-offs. What you managed especially well is that everyone stayed, everyone participated.
Other years, some people have had a habit of departing early, for “important telephone meetings” and, unfortunately, sometimes even the people in sales and the “management team” have taken the opportunity to “have meetings” during the conference and thus did not participate in lectures and group work.

This year, all took part and were active.

XXX is a “virtual” company, everyone works scattered in various projects with customers during the year and this summer’s conference (sometimes XXX have winter conferences) is the only time we all meet together.

That no one wanted to miss it is a great thing!

Black belt in Presentation Skills

I would like to start off by thanking you for the course last night and for the breakfast seminar that you held with us.
I have gone through the evaluations and it is the first time I’ve seen that someone got full marks on these issues.
“I think the content of the seminar was interesting.” 5.0 out of 5.
“I think the presenter was interesting to listen to.” 5.0 out of 5.

Though you ought, since you do have a black belt in presentation skills :)

Great coaching!

I should really have mailed my presentation before departing for Glasgow but I was not quite finished. The contents were clear but not the outline. The big day I played hooky from lectures and instead sat in the hotel room all day. Laid out the strategy, reviewed the choice of words (silly to have words that can be hard to say without having to dislocate your tongue), and learned the initial two minutes without even reading the presentation – aloud in front of the mirror. I made a ppt presentation containing four images without text, images I have chosen to emphasize the message. I went to the Ballroom at the Hilton in good time and went around the room and peed in my territory

I had forgotten my adapter to my Mac in Sweden but I knew that at least two of the other speakers had the Mac, but no cable was to procure. It was just to reprogram myself, but I did not feel painfully stressed anyway. The 100 listeners were eating by round tables and were neither quiet nor entirely concentrated during the first presentation. Us at the podium were also given food and were expected to eat during the others’ presentations. I came as number two and I actually thought it went decent (good grades to come from me).
The big shots from the hospital thanked me afterwards for a very good performance and said that when I told the story of Harry (pathos), it was the first time there was silence in the room. The evaluation from the audience was the highest ratings of all (!!!). I still have a long way to the perfect presentation skills, but it feels much better. Thanks for your help. I look forward to the next coaching opportunity!

A Magical Feeling

My name is Ingrid and I took a class in presentation skills by you sometime during the month of May. I and my colleagues came from the company XXX. Now I have been asked by an educational association to hold workshops for parents of children in special schools, and after thinking about it, I said yes. It meant that I would introduce myself and talk a bit about how I was going to lay out the circle.

So last Thursday, I stood before the 50-60 people talking, and I didn’t wander off in the middle of what I was talking about. As I stood there, what you have taught me began to live and it was a magical feeling! I felt that I wanted to thank you again!

Thanks for the lecture

I have just looked through the evaluations quickly, but there are many comments such as:
